Jari Askins fights for gun owners rights

In a misleading attack ad Hiett claims Jari Askins voted against conceal and carry legislation. The truth: the legislation was anti-gun. It did not allow the transporting of loaded guns in vehicles, so in effect it made conceal and carry still illegal. So Jari Askins carried a new law next session that allowed transporting loaded guns in vehicles so Oklahomans could really conceal and carry guns to protect themselves. Jari Askins doesn't try to lie to Oklahomans with tricky laws; instead she is fighting for good government for all Oklahomans. That's why the NRA has rated Jari Askins performance on our 2nd Amendment rights as an 'A'.

Henry Endorses Jari Askins

In Jari's latest ad she is positive showing how Governor Brad Henry supports her. This message is a good final ad because voters want a positive message to decide to vote for a candidate not a baseless attack.

Governors Debate aka pep rally

The crowd was screaming and yelling, but this was no athletic event, rather a dignified political debate. The governors debate was full of people screaming rude and crude things. "You are dumb, Brad you don't know anything!" "Get him Ernest!" "That ***hole needs to shut up!" "BOOOOOOO!" I was ashamed that the people held them self in this manner. The rude crowd took away time from discussing issues, and helped Oklahoma look like a bunch of hicks on C-SPAN. I went to the debate expecting a lively debate on the issues, rather I was a yelling match between the supporters. I even found myself breaking up a heated argument that was headed for a fist fight.
Come on Oklahoma we can do better than that!

First Ad in Spanish

In an odd move Dr. Hunter has released a new ad that has both Spainish and English versions. What I find odd is that Dr. Hunter still speaks in English in the Spainish version.
