In a misleading attack ad Hiett claims Jari Askins voted against conceal and carry legislation. The truth: the legislation was anti-gun. It did not allow the transporting of loaded guns in vehicles, so in effect it made conceal and carry still illegal. So Jari Askins carried a new law next session that allowed transporting loaded guns in vehicles so Oklahomans could really conceal and carry guns to protect themselves. Jari Askins doesn't try to lie to Oklahomans with tricky laws; instead she is fighting for good government for all Oklahomans.
